Our policies are concentrated on helping and improving the environment, making a greener society, maintaining a steady economic status, and making every person happy. We're trying to balance everything out and make things better than what they once were. It's going to take some time and we're going to need a lot of support, but things will get better and healthier.
Some people may not agree with our policies, but we really are trying to make every person happy. Don't judge us alone on our policies; make sure you read through our reasons as to why we're implementing them and how they're going to affect everyone in a positive way.
Our policies are as follows:
Free birth control- people are going to have sex. The more we tell them not to the more they probably will. If they're going to do it, they might as well do it safely. As of now, birth control is expensive. It should be something that women don't have to pay for.
Against "No Child Left Behind"- The previous presidents of the United States thought that "No Child Left Behind" would be something that would benefit our schools; that it would be something that would get every person to pass high school and get an education. However, this hasn't happened. People haven't gotten motivated to do something with their lives, and that's what they need. People need motivation. "No Child Left Behind" has also made getting a good education harder for Advanced Placement students. These students are now having to go at a slower pace, which isn't helping them at all.
Gun restrictions- We don't want to encourage the use of violence in our country. We're working towards peace. For this to happen, there are going to be restrictions on guns. People will be able to have a gun if they are certified to use it, but not just any person can have one. Guns can be used for hunting, and police officials may have one, but guns will not be used for violence against another human being.
No smoking in public- It's not classy. It's not practical. It's not healthy. It's expensive. It gives you cancer. Why do people even want to smoke? We can't tell people how to live their lives, but we can at least make everyone else's lives a little bit nicer and second-hand smoke free. Smoke on your own property, not public property. Stay classy, San Diego.
Recycle, recycle, recycle- Have we made our point? If not... RECYCLE! It's good! We support making the earth greener and for that to happen, we're putting recycling bins in most public places (i.e. malls, parks, venues, schools, restrooms, etc.).
Stricter prisons- Having a tv, nice bed..
Military
Pro-Choice-
Alternative energy sources-
Social Security
Eco-friendly...????
Gay Marriag- We're not discriminating against any race, religion, gender, or any sort of sexual preference. We accept people as who they are, and we firmly believe that gay marriage should be legal. There are going to be a lot of people against this, but on the other side, there are going to be a lot of people supporting this decision. We have to make everyone happy, or at least try to.
